The I/O shield that we depict in our case user guides does not come with the case. They come with your motherboard as each I/O shield is specifically made for that particular motherboard.
We include the I/O shield installation as a reminder not to forget it, because if you do forget to install the I/O shield you have to then uninstall almost everything in order to install it. Speaking from experience, it is not a fun time.
