Adjust Pro Hub Walkthrough

The Adjust Pro Hub is a combined fan and RGB hub allowing you to change fan speed and lighting for connected units through a web-based application without downloading any software. Below, we'll go through the hardware, how it works, and the application.

The Adjust Pro Hub-set contains:

1: Adjust Pro Hub - The main unit.

2: 2x Extension cable 500 mm - These are connected to your Momentum fans and to the Adjust Pro Hub.

3: 2x Legacy device splitter cables - Connects to PWM-cable and 3-pin 5V ARGB-cables from fans or RGB-strips that does not have the proprietary connectors, allowing installation of other or older fans and LED-strips to the Adjust Pro Hub.

4: USB cable - Used for connecting the Adjust Pro Hub to a motherboard USB 2.0-header.

5: PWM cable - Used to connect the Adjust Pro Hub to a motherboard 4-pin PWM-header.

I/O:

The hub I/O consists of 7 connectors with 4 different connector types, as seen above.

  1. 1: Micro-USB connector which connects to the USB 2.0 header on the motherboard with included cable. This connection is what transfer data to and from the hub.
  2. 2: PWM-connection. This header connects to one of the motherboard fan headers with the included cable.
  3. 3: SATA Power Connector. This connector is what powers the hub. Use one of the SATA-cables from your power supply here.
  4. 4: RGB-lighting and fan connectors. These headers are where the fan and RGB units connect to. The ports are a proprietary connection, which our Momentum fans have as a standard, but you'll also find a legacy splitter cable included allowing you to install other fan types and/or RGB-units here.
  5. 5: Status LED. This LED displays different colors depending on the status of the hub. This LED is a good troubleshooting indicator in case you would encounter any issues with the hub. See the bottom of this link for more information of the different LED-statuses.

Installation:

The Adjust Pro Hub has a magnet on the back and can be magnetically attached to metal surfaces in the PC case. It should be placed with enough space for connected cables.

The hub can now be added and controlled through our web application at adjust.fractal-design.com

The Adjust Pro Hub does not require you to download any softwares to use. All settings made through the web application gets saved in the internal memory of the hub, allowing you to close the application down after settings are made.

The 4 RGB-lighting and fan connectors each have a separate channel. If you connect, for example 3 ARGB2 fans to the first header, the RGB on these can still be adjusted separately as the hub recognize these as different units. ARGB1 fans connected in a chain will not be individually recognized. If you have any such units, we recommend putting these on a separate header due to these otherwise copying the color option of the previous fans in the chain.
